The Challenge
Create a dynamic system to manage programming and improve user experience.
The Maestoso Cinema, a point of reference for the city of Campobasso, needed a redesign of the site, to make it modern and to facilitate the consultation of the films being programmed even from smartphones and tablets.
The challenge was to create a platform that allowed users to see the programming for the following days in just a few clicks, consult the details of the films and easily access contacts.
The site had to be simple to manage also for the owner, allowing updating and modifying the programming in total autonomy.
The Target
Offer a user-friendly interface and autonomous programming management.
I designed a clear and intuitive interface, which allows users to quickly explore cinema programming and discover detailed information about films in just a few taps. For the UX and UI I first built the wireframe in Figma, after confirming it with the property I went to develop it directly with Elementor Pro.
Furthermore, the Cinema Maestoso property can manage, insert and delete films independently, without the need for external technical assistance. All this through a dashboard built through ACF and CPT UI. The property can also manage the order of appearance of the films in each list, simply through drag and drop.
As soon as users select a film they can view the detail containing the plot, info and trailer. To purchase tickets you are redirected to an external site (not developed by me) to purchase tickets.
The Result
A dynamic site that simplifies management and improves customer experience.
The new Cinema Maestoso website has received extremely positive feedback, both from the public and from the owners.
The latter is enthusiastic about being able to manage the programming independently, without waiting times or long and cumbersome external interventions.
The user experience has been improved, allowing viewers to consult programming quickly and easily, strengthening the bond between the cinema and the local community.
By integrating Google Analytics it allowed us to track the metrics: on average the Maestoso cinema website receives around 45,000 visits per month, reaching up to 60,000 during key periods, such as Christmas.
This allowed the property to generate extra profits by placing advertising spaces (which can also be managed independently) within the site pages.
